Giving Back with Cheeriodicals

Our team volunteered with Cheeriodicals, a national corporate team-building company that conducts philanthropic events benefiting charity organizations, in support of Dell Children’s Medical Center during our 2022 company offsite in Austin, TX. As a team, we made care packages filled with crafts, activity books, puzzles, and games that were delivered to patients at the hospital. Read a reflection from hospital staff about our experience below:

“The Cheeriodical Boxes are a joy to receive, especially this time of year when donations are low. On the day we received the SSA & Company boxes we were at maximum occupancy and had many patients waiting in the ER for available beds within the hospital. Many of the first boxes were given to these patients who were holding for admittance. Most of these families came to the ER not knowing they would be admitted and did not bring any type of distraction or entertainment for their children. The box contents were a huge hit with these patients and families. The staff was so extremely grateful to have such a great resource for their patients during a very stressful day.
Thank SSA & Company and Cheeriodicals!!”
