A global insurance corporation experienced an SME growth opportunity, but faced profitability challenges due to patchwork systems and processes and poorly curated underwriting data. The company needed help to develop an optimized customer journey and systems platform to profitably capture this growth opportunity.

Approach

The SSA & Company team developed a structured understanding of the preferred broker journey for SME clients for winning business and built and deployed a highly automated systems platform with multi-country, multi-product, portal and API connectivity. We created ‘proof of concept’ in two countries, focused broker partnerships to test and drive adoption, and provided execution and scale-up support, all driving towards target-operating model vision and tracking results.
