Challenge

A global reinsurance company was facing difficulty utilizing data analyses to effectively create differentiation in its core products. The company wanted to create new products based on rich data history and additional external data to drive margin improvement.

Approach

The SSA & Company team developed a method to identify inefficiencies in data analysis and client engagement gaps by identifying differentiators that could be augmented by automation, process improvement, and digitization. We analyzed the current technology stack and strategic architecture to define a best-fit future state, and conducted internal and external research to identify best practices that could be leveraged to produce disruptive new products based on existing data assets.
