Matt Katz, Managing Partner and Head of Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods spoke with Business Insider about the impact of omnichannel capabilities, like Buy-Online-Pick-Up-In-Store, on the retail landscape this past year.

He reflected on how the pandemic has created lasting changes in consumer preferences and buying habits stating, “[It] drove a change in consumer psyche, driven by the quest to maintain safety.” He explains how many retailers overcame these challenges and how they can continue to do so in 2021, “The way that most retailers got through the economic challenge is by providing omni-everywhere capabilities.”
