Matt Katz Featured in Retail Dive “What 6 charts say about the pandemic’s impact on retail”

Matt Katz, Managing Partner and Head of Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods spoke with Retail Dive about the health, social, and economic factors that have shaped the retail market over the past few months. “This has been a dramatic change not only economically and health-wise, but socially. This is a watershed moment for retail,” he said.

He goes onto explain how transforming strategies and operating models could help adapt to current circumstances and lead to much-needed change in the industry, “Until you solve those social safety and health issues, you’re not gonna return to the levels that you had before, which may not be a bad thing, right? It’s not about trying to get them to act the way they did.”
