A private equity-owned fire suppression business rapidly expanded its footprint through acquisition, and was struggling with consistent integration.

The company needed help standardizing and optimizing its integration processes to maximize value creation and capture and building a ‘plug and play’ integration model for future acquisitions.

Approach

  • Conducted rapid diagnostic of integration processes and practices
  • Interviewed and surveyed key personnel at all levels, sellers, and industry experts
  • Baselined existing integration process including process map, and customer journey mapping for seller
  • Created end-to-end integration approach to improve team and seller communication and optimize value capture realization
  • Developed tools to track value creation and integration stage gates
