An outdoor recreational brand faced retail distribution channel consolidation and changing consumer shopping behaviors. The CEO wanted to sustainably accelerate business transformation via enhanced digital capabilities to grow revenue by 50% within 3 years.
Approach
The SSA & Company team identified ways to drive growth and engage consumers across the path to purchase with a digital experience audit. We assessed digital maturity through DIITM, AI-driven surveys, internal & external benchmarks, and research, and planned to build digital capabilities through training/ upskilling, org design, and effective ways of working. In doing this, we identified opportunities to enhance efficiency, working dollar spend, collaboration, and alignment on digital. The implementation of SSA & Company recommendations allowed the client to take advantage of COVID-driven changes in customer behavior to outperform outdoor equipment competitors during sudden, rapid growth.
