Challenge

A private equity-owned supplier of graduation products lacked critical supply planning capabilities and a robust data governance / IT structure. The company sought to establish visibility into inventory and supply, build and refine processes around newly established capabilities to accelerate planned ERP implementation, and gain and leverage financial insight.

Approach

We rapidly developed deep understanding of current data governance / IT landscape across the business and mapped all gaps in the core processes related to inventory management (production, procurement, inventory control, distribution). We developed and implemented auditable process and system controls, and dashboards, reports, and KPIs to improve and predict utilization. We provided visibility into the business performance via BI dashboards, including prioritized, near-term opportunities and built future-state process maps to inform ERP requirements with complete buy-in from functional owners, driving alignment across the business.
