Matt Derganc

Matt has 18+ years of experience leading operational change to execute strategy and create quantifiable improvements to the bottom line. Focusing on Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management, he works across the public and private middle market, with extensive experience driving value for Private Equity sponsors.
Prior to SSA & Company, Matt spent six years in consulting, first at Loughlin Management Partners + Co and subsequently BDO, where he worked with more than 30 companies across many industries, including Consumer Goods, Technology, Energy, Logistics, and Retail. During this time, he notably led the carve out and stand up of a SAAS marketing company from a Fortune 50 company, the integration of two furniture manufacturers, the development of a strategic manufacturing plan for a leader in commercial playground equipment, and multiple working capital and performance improvement projects.
Before working in consulting, Matt was an officer in the US Navy, led a manufacturing line and later transportation and logistics at Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America, and led Corporate Planning and Development for Energy Alloys.
Based just north of Houston, Texas in The Woodlands, Matt enjoys cooking, home automation, and keeping reef aquariums.
