Jim Quallen
Managing Director
Jim is a seasoned operator with 25 years of business and capability building experience as a consultant, founder, and interim executive for both public and Private Equity-owned companies across industries and geographies. He has experience executing operational improvement, advanced analytical techniques (AI & ML), data science, pricing and profitability analysis, big data strategy, and corporate strategy to drive value creation through growth and efficiency gains with a focus on implementation and capture of tangible, bottom-line results. He has vast experience in data-driven selling and customer targeting and has helped over 100 organizations apply quantitative approaches to customer segmentation, offer design, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
Prior to joining SSA & Company, Jim was a managing director at Blue Ridge Partners where he worked with a number of major private equity firms and their portfolio companies to enhance revenue engine performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and work side by side with clients to implement action plans that drive incremental revenues and margins. Before Blue Ridge Partners, Jim founded a services/software company, Melinae, and also held leadership positions at Opera Solutions, AlixPartners, and Mitchell Madison.
Jim is based in New Jersey. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including growing Carolina Reaper peppers with his son.
