Jim joined SSA & Company in 2018 and works primarily with the Financial Services practice. In his role, Jim partners with clients in a variety of areas including market and competitive landscape analysis, customer segmentation strategy, organizational and operating model design, process migration and relocation strategy, large-scale transformation programs, and M&A program management.
Prior to SSA, Jim was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Textron, a Fortune 500 conglomerate operating in the Aerospace, Defense, and Industrials sectors. During his tenure at Textron, Jim worked on 19 successfully closed acquisitions and assessed 100+ acquisitions targets. Jim supported all phases of the transaction process including deal sourcing, valuation analysis, financial and operational due diligence, and integration planning.
With 10+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance, Jim has experience working with both domestic and international clients and has developed the requisite skills to work in diverse and fast-paced environments. He has built a specialized knowledge base in growth strategy, operations strategy, operational due diligence, transformation design, and program management.
Jim is a co-leader of SSA’s Professional Development Committee and is actively involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts. Jim is currently based out of Sarasota, FL but also spends much of his time in Philadelphia, PA. In his non-work hours, you can find him golfing, playing basketball, or skiing.
