Dan Sears
Director
As a Director, Dan works with companies to assess, understand, and streamline processes in order to improve strategy execution. He also works with deployment teams to achieve Lean Six Sigma targets through project execution and mentoring. Dan brings over 20 years of experience across multiple industry segments including manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, logistics, and retail.
Before joining SSA & Company, Dan was director of Six Sigma Programs at Invensys Building Systems, where he led the initialization of all Six Sigma and Lean activities, oversaw all cost reduction efforts, and developed Black Belt, Master Black Belt, and Lean training curricula. Prior to that, Dan was Manager of Health and Safety at Siebe Environmental Controls. In this role, Dan had responsibilities for the overall health & safety of the plant including worker’s compensation, regulatory programs, and health & safety programs.
Outside of work, Dan is an avid trail runner and spends time managing Big Slo Running, a non-profit he co-founded with his son, that puts on trail runs and ultra-marathons for charity.
