Director
Tanner is a Director focused on helping clients identify and execute high-impact, accretive transformational initiatives. Tanner leverages his 10+ years of experience facilitating change as both an operator and a consultant to creatively support enterprise leaders to develop and implement actionable improvement plans, consider strategic planning implications, and react to the evolving challenges and opportunities in the modern digital world. Tanner has developed skills in project management, financial & operational analysis, process mapping, business process automation, organizational structure & alignment, communications, supply chain strategy, footprint optimization, and business case development that supplement his passion of driving tangible operational improvements. Prior to joining SSA & Company, Tanner worked at Alvarez & Marsal, where he spent significant time supporting a state government in their COVID-19 pandemic response effort, specifically focused on vaccine distribution and associated strategic initiatives.
Tanner calls Chicago “home” but originally hails from Atlanta. In his non-work hours, you can find him playing golf, traveling with his fiancé, working out, reading, catching up on streaming content, celebrating and/or cursing Atlanta sports teams, or pursuing one of his community service interests (Cara Collective, the Cambodian Children’s Fund).
