Scott has more than 20 years of experience helping companies improve profitability and simplify how they run. He focuses on product and customer profitability, portfolio simplification, and operating model design, and has worked with private equity sponsors, Fortune 500 companies, and mid-market businesses. Executive teams and investors bring him in to get a clear read on where a business actually makes money, then turn that into a plan they can act on.
Prior to SSA & Co., Scott spent 13 years at Wilson Perumal &Company, a boutique strategy and operations consulting firm, where he advised CEOs, boards, and private equity sponsors across industrial, distribution, consumer, healthcare, and services businesses. Earlier in his career, he ran manufacturing operations for a medical device company and managed new model launches at Ford Motor Company, including the launch of Ford’s first new assembly plant in more than 30 years.
